Stepping into your feminine energy isn’t about wearing pink and batting your lashes. It’s about leaning back, letting things flow, and realizing you don’t need to try so hard to be magnetic—you already are. Think less “doing the most” and more “effortlessly main character.”
But if you’re the eldest daughter (or just someone who grew up being the responsible one), this can feel like learning a whole new language. We’re trained to plan the plans, fix the problems, and make sure everyone else is okay before we even think about ourselves. It’s boss energy, sure, but it also makes it hard to soften, receive, or let someone else take the lead. That’s why stepping into feminine energy feels like a total shift—it’s giving yourself permission to not always be in control.
Here’s how I’ve been practicing it:
Stop being the chaser
Dating PSA: you don’t need to double-text, triple-text, or map out the next six months. If he wants to see you, he’ll make it happen. Your only job is to show up, sip your drink, and decide if you even like him.
Romanticize the everyday
Spray your perfume before running to Starbucks. Put on that playlist while doing skincare. Wear the outfit that makes you feel hot instead of defaulting to your “safe” sweater. Feminine energy lives in the little rituals that turn boring moments into main character ones.
Stay in the moment (aka stop spiraling)
On a date, stop running mental simulations of your wedding, kids, and dog’s name—or, on the flip side, the breakup you’re already planning. Just be present. Laugh at the joke, flirt a little, enjoy the vibe. You’ll figure the rest out later.
Trust your gut
That little voice that says “he’s not it”? Believe her. The one that tells you to wear the red lipstick even if it’s just for brunch? Listen to her. Your intuition is your feminine energy’s loudest voice, don’t mute it.
Learn to receive
Compliment? Say thank you. Door held open? Walk through it. Dinner covered? Let it happen. Receiving isn’t weakness—it’s magnetic. Honestly, it’s the flex of all flexes.
Stepping into your feminine energy doesn’t mean ditching your independence. It’s about balancing your boss side with softness, fun, and just a touch of mystery. Think less “I’ll do everything” and more “I’ll be glowing over here, thanks.”
So tell me—how are you stepping into your feminine energy these days?
Love, Laura
